nice article
so TRE is for top speed
but bad for drag-strips
I think I'll pass the TRE & PCIII, and exthaust systems
The bike is so powerful that I don't _need_ any fixes
Although for those who want and need to be competitive
mods are a must - but not me

Except there isn't a TRE for ZX12R because the timing isn't retarded. Why do you think ZX14 will "need" one?

VPN, ya need the pipe...It adds HP and takes weight off the bike...But if you like all stock and quiet sound then an OEM catalytic pipe ZX14 is for you...

It's your choice, it's your bike...Just my

tslewisz : Muzzy'sd Bonneville Box then
CrotchRocket : I will leave it stock (with ABS & center stand + grab handle)
BUT I may mode the seat shorter for better support in hard accelerations
and to let the pillion to geab closer...( o ) ( o )
Also heated grips, alarm system, Pro-Oiler or CLS-200, crash pads will add weight
not to mention about triple hard bags, small tank bag and that co-pilot ( Y )

Rob Muzzy (Muzzys) already stated in another thread that they will be releasing a product to bypass the top speed limitation on the ZX14.

Total BS. cars arent restricted, why bikes.

Oh, how wrong you are!!!

Almost all american and japanese cars are top speed restricted. The exceptions are certain performance models.

BMW, VW, Audi all restrict the top speed of their performance models to 155.

France doesn't have to...

I thought the french bastards were the ones that started this whole speed restriction war on bikes in the first place. Yet they don't restrict their cars?? Interesting.
