It's for show and go obviously there is market for these types of bikes. To each his own there are hundreds of Busa's wearing these cloths. The ZX-14 looks pretty nice dressed up.

Gives a good idea what it looks like with the strakes smoothed out.
Is someone going to make a passenger seat cover that fits right?

Pre-production model shown. I assume the production model would have that issue fixed.

Nice work Rob.
Not for me though.
Gives a good idea what it can look like with some mods.
Did you make new panels, or shave the stockers.
I noticed the strakes are gone on the fender too.

The bike pictured is a pre-production model, not the final production spec bike. Seems pretty easy to me. So we can hope that this cowl will be fixed on the final spec model. There is a second custom bike being completed as we speak which is deemed to be much better than this one. Ok easy enough..Fish are you getting a ZX-14 to ride?

I am not the fabricator just the one blessed to get the images first out to all. Thought you guys needed something else to look at in the mean time. The fabricator :Rob is a true motorcycle enthusiast who is racing in the Daytona 200. So he is not a poser, the guy can actually ride a motorcycle, he builds some fancy bikes for his clients. I personally can't wait to ride the stock version myself.

all the zx-14s I've seen (including the one I saw at Indy) had no prob with the fit of the cowl... I can only assume from the foto that the poor fit is due to the bodywork being chopped or modified (as you can see there are extensive changes to the bodywork of the bike in the pic.

seems like a no brainer to me.

Well you are wrong. Full from France posted video of the fit issue of the cowl at a show he attended, dig up those pics and it should clear up that fuzz...some of us know this bike very well. Time will tell for sure..........

Topshelf... no offence.... I dont have time to download a video of the bike. I've seen it in person more than once. It looked just fine both in Vancouver and Seattle.

I'm working on it..... We are trying to get Rob a few systems before Daytona. This segment of the market is growing very quickly and we are happy to be involved. Actually, we're happy to be involved with all segments of the market!
