hi there everyone . here in oz we will not be getting the model with abs this year . so i carn't see to many getting sold and on the roads . keeping my zx12r 03 for now .

Mines been ordered for months. Originally promised for late March but I fear it will be more like mid April.

I paid for mine yesterday ...No clue what color it will be ..The dealer has three coming but no clue what color will come in first ...I want black............Can't wait !!!

I have contacted Kawasaki UK and asked about sales.. etc.
I was told that the UK is only getting 300 of the ZX1400's and the shop that i called stated that they were getting 6 of them and 4 have been sold already and apparently they will be due for relesase on the second week of April.
I think there weill be some demands that customers may end up on the waiting list for some period of time.
£8995.00...... better than expected.

It may be of interest, the owner of this shop, Mike Grainger, did a genuine, electronically timed, 212.9mph on his conventionally aspirated ZX12R last year. Fastest I've seen with no Turbo or Nitrous.

Bet ur Ass i would get one , Yes it is not as hot as the 12 as far as appearance goes , but what izz really knows is dat its going to correct all the short commings of the 12 and with the gains in the torque curve while being only 7lbs heavier, its is going to be the new Satndard in hyper-Gt bay-b .
This is the Triggerman , im new here but i have been following the site for months , its a great site !
I currently and FINALLY got my 2003 12r ( Galaxy Silver ) just 3 months ago up Here in Calgary Alberta Canada .
the zx12r B's are definaly a kick ass bike , my last machine i owned was a RM 125 but have ridden CBR XX ,GSX-R 750, ZX-9r , ZX 11 ( very cool bike ) Yadda Yadda. I also grew up in the sticks and my Granddaddy HAD a Yamaha dealership. So we bagged the shit outta every demo he left the keys in  ~
I obsessed about owning the zx12 for 5 long long years and I finnally got my Greedy Paws on it heheheeeeeee .
The zx12 actually exceeded my expectations ! it is a hard core heavily Sport focused machine and its hard not to hit 280+ comming back in to Calgary on the Trans Canada From the Divide , cause not only is it great Lanscape to play with there is a sweet new strip of Taramac to Violate ! , Too bad Cops dont Turn the other cheek .
I strongly belive in waiting till the right moment to explore the bike ( Clear open Road ) .
As far as the 14 i am going to get the oppourtunity to Solo Demo the zx14 as soon as weather permits and the dealership gets its demo , i am going to make a bike film up here this summer titled "ENTER THE NINJA" it will be geared To Entertain as well as Humour the viewers ( Reach out ) as well as promote Curtious Kick ass riding so we can protect out sport and our Ass's.
Recently i have been trying to break throught to KMC KHI and Bombardier with innovative ideas i have for the industry that include a new engine design, Real Protective equipment ( exosuits) , Meg Lev concepts for the 5th dimention in Travel the zx12 was suppost to be the 4th hehe.
as well as a Street legal quad with 400hp.
And i am tellin ya its a Challange to be proerly heard , Persistance will pay off .
Kawi is such a cool company eh , how many of you have checked out all thier operations on thier KHI sites ?

I have to see it and ride it before i can say that i want one, we all had something to say when we saw the pics, but i think in person its going to be a different story.

Seeing the bike In person far exceeded the pictures. Especially the blue color. I had hever seen the Candy Thunder Blue in person before going to the cycle show in Fort Worth... pictures simply can't capture that color well. Sitting on the bike was the clincher.. it fits me well, ergos very similar to my ZZR, but much lighter feeling.

I have my deposit down a blue one. The Candy Thunder Blue is the same colour my ZRX was. The brochures make it look a little on the purple side which it is not. Some of the pictures posted by fish in the last couple of days are much closer to what the blue looks like in person.
Alberta has just been pounded by snow in the last couple of days, so if the bikes don't show up until April, it's no big deal here.

I ordered in november 2005 and seems like getting my baby mid or - worst case - end of april. In Germany there are only the colours pearl-grey metallic or blue possible and ABS is included - NO further options in these points. And today I sold my ZZR-1100 (2001).
Hard times waiting for the new one. :-(

Just talked to my Dealer here in FL , Kawi is telling him April for the first 2 ZX14s .... Last week he checked and they said March ... So it's has been pushing back a month... Sucks .....

Right now I'm without a bike, just sold a real nice tricked out twelve about a month ago. Made a decent deal with the dealer by paying cash in advance for a red zx-14. Hope to get it by April give or take a week. Going to keep this bike pretty much stock. Might add a pipe and custom map, but plan to just ride it first.
