It looks like the website has died down since the release of the specs. Out of curiousity anyone not buying now?

Yup, still buying - for sure! This is the perfect replacement for my ZZR1200, great timing too... I was ready for an upgrade. I like all of the new goodies on the '14, and any additional power over the ZZR or the 12R are simply an added bonus.

Don't Know.
Like to know if the motor is over engineered , meaning can it handle alot more power reliably?
Only one manufacturer out there that has cranks / cases capable of handling 300+HP reliably so far.
They're QA/QC has better history.

Is the monocoque chasis, and unbraced swingarm a flexy flier ?
wait a year and see what the competitor offers?
buy a 05 ZX10 leftover ?

Lost alot of interest.
Have to see.

I am going ahead for sure. I am sure there will be changes to the bike over the next few years, but I am comfortable getting a first year model. No real new ground breaking technology on this bike that is not proven.

Basically, if you bought a 12 over a Busa and enjoyed it, then you'll like the 14 as well! The Busa(current and future)will ALWAYS be a much better bike to build on....Suzuki knows this and designs it this way for a reason. Be happy what you're riding and be happy these kick ass bikes are new and improved for us every year!!

IMHO you'd probably be better off with a busa if you plan on building a 300+ hp motor...
in another HO of mine, i can see the 14 being somewhere in the 225-250hp range with a few basic mods and a little nos.....
