....I just saw Kawasaki's ZX-14 ad in the March 2006 edition of CYCLE WORLD...its a rear 3/4 lower right perspective from the pavement smokey burn-out pic... 
...the lead-in line on what appears to be gray/white smoke with a hint of sky says: "The Ninja ZX-14 is the most powerful motorcycle we've ever built."...
...then you flip the page to the smokey burn-out from a red 14 at the staging light of a drag-strip and the tag-line says: "Careful where you point that thing."
....so now we can reasonably deduce about what audience Kawasaki is pointing this big four-barreled 'smoking gun' at....nice....just shoot me

...its like planned obsolescense...let's them build the most powerful motorcycle they've ever built every new model or so during the coming years....good for marketing...

The Harley V-Rod Destroyer isn't more powerful, just quicker in the quarter mile. Having a slick, wheelie bar, and air shifter helps.

The fastest Ive seen on a Destroyer is 9.46 141 with a pro rider and some tweaking.
Full race header
14.1 compression
monster cams
wheelie bars
7" slick
Multi stage lockup clutch
Very steep gearing
66.9 wheelbase
Now add all this to the ZX-14 and see how she does. Can anybody say 8.60s
Hell I've seen a piped and tuned busa with a 16 tooth on front , strapped and lowered run
8.90s
And ya get $20,000. in change

Marco, a 62" wheelbase ZX9 and ZX11 with pipe, carbs, slammed and geared will go 9.40s
A 60" ZX10, ZX12, and stock wheelbase ZX14 with good riders will go faster than 9.40s for less than 1/2 the price of the Destroyer!!!
The only thing that Harley Destroys is your savings account
But I know you were just messing with us, you know those Harleys are over rated!!!
