Fish do you get pissed off when you have a slow leak on one of your tires? I do and sometimes those are the worst to get stopped. You know the kind not enough to get fixed but enough that you have to air up before every ride Gawd I hate those the worst.

Just in the last couple days on psychobike, there was talk about the 14 at Ricky Gadson's shop too. I think the phrase used was that it was "slighty heavier, but quite a bit more power than a Busa". Check it out for yourselves...

By seat of the pants, I definitely reject this rumor. The ZX14 is not heavier than the Busa. I sat on both one after another in Long Beach, and I would bet my M1 class on it.

KHI knew better what their mission is with building the 14. The stakes are way too high to come out with just marginal model to compete with the competition.

You'll loose that M1 Setting on a bike and rocking it off the stand won't tell you shit. Hell Kawasaki could fit a slightly longer stand to the show bikes and make them feel 50 pounds less. NOT saying they did this but as we all know a bike sitting on an already too long stand don't feel like it weighs anything when you rock it off the stand, and the other way is also true. Put the same bike on a short stand and it feels like it weighs a ton. I keep hearing guys stating the bike didn't feel heavy at the show. Come on guys and wake up! Kawasaki is playing a game with everyone on the specs or it would be known by now AND if it was all lite a fluffy they damn sure would have been beating their chest by now. You can stuff a powerful motor in a heavy package and still achieve great top speed and even greater stability at speed. It just takes a little longer to achieve that speed. Duh!! What do you think they did really? How much is that M1 worth???

Fish I didn't SAY TOOO DAMN long now did I??eh? Haven't you ever lowered a bike a little and NOT shortened the stand? When you get on it's like BAM! The thing just sits strait up with little effort.. Sure you have we all have. The same goes for raising a bike back up to normal after the stand has been shortened The bike feels very heavy coming off the stand because you have to manage more of the weight before the bike finds it's balance point. Where did you go to school? and did they teach any science there? I love this new smilie

dude.. I sat on the bike. It's leaning at the same angle as every other bike there. It would be pretty obvious if it was at a steeper or lesser angle than the other 1000 bikes at the bike show. You'd see it in photos too.

THis has got to be the dumbest conspiracy theory I've heard to date!

Why do I get the feeling this one of those situations that some smart marketing guy
has planned out on story boards 3 months ago?

"Subservient Chicken that was so last year!
Watch how we make these motorcycle forum geeks dance! Dance monkeys, dance!".

Sounds like some he said she said bullshit for some grown men to be engaging in.
Sure stirs up the pot nice though.

The ZX-14 is going to be a monster bike. As soon as I come back from the Bikeland zx-14 test drive that isn't really scheduled to take place, I will make sure not to tell you all about how heavy it feels.

Thanks I try harder to be dumber...... AND!!!!! I stated that I wasn't saying they did this. REAR EVERYTHING AND TRY TO DIGEST IT ALL I was only saying that making a bike feel lite coming off the stand would be that easy to do. I'm sure they could come up with something alot better than that if they wanted to. I'll bet the Queen Mary don't weigh anymore than the average dingy either. The sheer size don't account for a thing does it?

NOw back to the dance
