Well, Fish let us just say for the record someone under that roof slipped up. But, I have NO reason to doubt the source and time will tell. I'm not even remotely interested in owning one so it really don't matter to me. I'm sure the motor is great, But the packaging sux ass for what I personally like. Others will love it I'm certain.

Believe it or NOT Fish NOT everything that is said in a day is on the Web is hooked to a link. Like I said time will tell and we'll revisit this thread at that time. For now it's just a rumor as far as you know. I will say Mr. MUZZY didn't personally say anything. But if you think that they have been pulling that thing on the dyno out there and info hasn't leaked out you're kidding yourself. It's really not that big a deal and like I said it don't matter to me if it made 210 it's ugly and useless unless a guy wants to drag race the thing and that's not my bag. Either of my bikes now will easily do 180 and there's NO PLACE to do it in the average days ride. This bike will rock at the drag strip but it will suck at places like the Blueridge Parkway or the Gap, or the Cherohala Skyway. Just like the Busa does.. It's a Busa class bike. That's what it was designed to go head to head with. Busa = 1" chicken strips for all but a small percentage of folks that own them. Busa= Also 1 bad mutter at the drag strip or highway extreme high speed roll ons. But hit the exit ramp and point that thing out of town on a twisty road and it's slow NO CORNER SPEED. The 14 will be the same. Most people that ride aren't skilled enough or willing to put a knee down and trust their tires. But they will however point their bike strait and turn the loud handle on the highway. Suzuki figured this out in 1999 with the Busa. Kawasaki tried to give the world something Better that would do both well and was rewarded with far less than stellar sells and a discontinued model. Those of us who own them will be the only ones to ever know what a marvel the 12R really is.

So you're saying that they havent said anything, but they have, but they havent and you have no link or quote to back it up?
Doesnt sound like a "leak" to me....

NO I'm mearly passing it on IT was leaked from there It's like your kitchen sink leaking Fish. The leak is at the water source. The water that leaked is passed on by the drain pipes and is no longer considered a leak. It could however be considered water that has leaked at one time. So this could be considered info that was once leaked and is now being passed on. So many ways to look at leaking water I never really though of it before. Do you have any leaking faucets Fish? You know a leaking faucet can cost you plenty

There aren't that many employees there who would be in-the-loop to those "leaked" numbers. So it's not too difficult to know whom it would be... So.... If someone were to get in trouble for leaking said numbers, they are already in trouble when Rob and/or KMC reads the numbers.
Anyway.... The numbers more than likely have no correalation to production numbers. Anyone who may in fact have a bike or a motor, have pilot units; best case pre-production units. You may recall the large difference in pilot/pre-production hp numbers from the 10, to actual production numbers.....
Relax and speculate all you want. March will be here soon and the speculation will cease
