You all should know better than to fight over this stupid bullshit. If yall have had insurance for so long...EVERYONE knows what zipcode you're in determines ALOT! Claim rates in that AREA!
I pay $27/month with $100/$100 deductibles! StateFarm. ZX-636. They just go by CC and nothing else here where I live. He said 1199cc here for "ME" would be about $40/month. That's good.
Home, car, bike all for $116/month! All 3 in one! Can't beat that price. Zipcode: 45440 Dayton, OHIO

I bet those of us in the South have higher rates because of longer riding seasons too... oh, did I mention that it's going to be 72 today, and 80 by Sunday ;-) I've ridden to work 3 days this week!

Most definately higher further south you go I'm sure.
Accident claims in your zip makes them worse also. I lived in the country once
and it cost me more than the city I live in now. I asked why, they said there is
just more claims out there in that zipcode. It was the country too. I was shocked.

"nevermind" I dogged swft and rac4it and decided to edit it. I don't feel like fighting this morning from what I said last night. I don't know you 2 and could really give a fuck less about what this topic is about.

State Farm always quotes 6-mo policies where I've lived (FL and TX). Those numbers look almost exactly what my policy looks like.
Another note - State Farm uses multiple insurers to "underwrite" their policies, it would be nice to know which company underwrites the policy quoted above. I know it's different than who TX State Farm uses, because all comprehensive coverage in TX is $0 (zero) deductable. My policy is underwritten by something like "State Farm County Mutual Insurance Company of Texas"... but I don't remember exactly off-hand.

ZerMATT that is not a 6 month policy. Its for a full year. What makes it so damn hard for you guys to belive me. I live in Kansas not the damn East or West Coast, everything is cheaper here....

zxint - Understood. The last part of my last statement was trying to point out that even though many of are with "State Farm", we are still actually insured by different underwriters in each state. Your state/county/city obviously has much better rates than most of the rest of us...
Unfortunately between hail, hurricanes, mold, and rain, I can't get much of a break on homeowners or car insurance either. I believe my rates are good compared to others I know, but I know that everyone in this locale is getting the shaft because of other factors in the state.
I guess the bottom line is that even though I can't get the incredibly low rates that you can, my State Farm agent is still able to beat anyone else that I've tried (Progressive, Geico, Bikeline, etc). I guess I should be happy ;-)

Can one get a State Farm quote online from their website? I looked one night but couldn't figure out how to do it.

Sorry - I didn't follow it that far at first :-) No, it doesn't look like they quote motorcycles online. Kinda makes sense, as I still believe that each agent has their own process when it comes to motorcycles... one of the drawbacks of having a bunch of agents scattered across the country all doing their own thing using archaic computer systems. It's old-school insurance, but I still like 'em!
