What should I pack?
Fish,
Not saying I am going to get chosen in the lottery or anything,
but IF I do what should I take with me to Cali for the zx-14 test ride?

What really happens is "boys and girls weekend at the lake"
You & your friends will tell a similar story to your wifes
I'm single so I don't have to worry AND I would not do it anyway

I don't know that it is written anywhere that a guy, just cuz he duck tapes another fella and forcibly takes his ...well....uh...his flower? that makes a guy gay. How about enthusiastic?

I think this time the route should go through Borego Springs (Great Stop fer bites) and around the Salton Sea! (Desert ..... better weather) This bike is a tourer remember there Fishy! A fast Tourer too! I hope!

I know the other road (111) down there hugging the East side of the Salton Sea. Just outside of Indio, there are Date palm groves, and a shop where you can buy dates, shakes, etc. After the community of North Shore, you begin to encounter quite a few deep whoop-de-doos. If you are traveling quite fast, (I mean really fast) you will catch air, and possibly "case" the next whoop. I kid you not.
They raised a few whoops a few years ago, but when rain hits there, it floods. No doubt, the whoop(s) might be lower. The 111 is definitely one place to open it up.
Just giving you a word of caution, that 111 is kind of deceiving if you happen "WOT" that side of the Salton Sea. Perfect weather now till March/April.
(Salton Sea trivia: Has 23% more salt then the ocean. Over 200 feet below sea level).

The 68 thou is my favorite road of alll. Then I think Laughlin is in order! Make a few bucks there and eat well then go back to KMI!
