zx-11?
I can't wait to get my 14 in the spring but i had a trip down memory lane today, and i was thinking about my first bike..a 93 zx 11d. I raced it for 4 years and done little odds and ends shit to it...but i was wondering what the HP ratings were for these bikes back in 93...does anybody know? I put a VH exhaust on it,airbox mods,K&N and gears and it would run 10.20's with a 220lbs rider and that was a heavy bike to start with. I think my fat ass needs to go on a diet.

zx11 was rated at 147 p.s. at the crank..which is 126-130 @ the wheel bone stock

mags said 132 for the c models. it was the king for 7 years till the black bird tied it, although i still could beat the b.b... it was funny to me because when i would swap and ride the b.b. i thought it felt faster because of the low end grunt.but here comes that kawasaki top end peek and the 11 would pull away. i never lost a race on the street in 10 years and 57000 miles. i knew not to race a busa. then i bought my 2k 12r and have never been beat by any bike with my mods. 15 busa's so far

usually the magazines rate the 12r at 162 horsepower and 90.7 foot pounds of torque

ZX11 torque is rated at 81.0 ft/lb @ 8,500 RPM in stock form.
