Hard to say... Young Machine has sometimes been right on, months in advance of "hard info" coming out, and other times has had pure artist fantasies that never came to realization.
That one seems like a good idea. I would bet a little over 50/50 that they are going on real info with this one (in other words, an artist impression based on real leaks.)

I had a Z1000 .It was the MOST fun I ever had on two wheels. It just wasn't big enough for me . This one is my "Holy Grail" . EXTREMELEAN , tell the bosses that I have cash in hand !

IF they build a Z1400, I sure in the hell it looks better than these photochop pictures. I dont care at all for the radiator cover signal light things.
Lets hope they just make it a naked bike, dont detune it or give it none of that 5 speed gear box shit either. And none of those stupid arse mufflers like the Z1000 has either. The Muzzy slip-ons made a huge improvement in appearance on my Z1K.
Here is Kawis chance to build the ultimate naked bike,now lets see if they can mess it up, or get it right.
I will be inline right behind Zammy if this does prove true.

ozz... I disagree with you.. appart from the foreman grill that I see has migrated its way to the front fender, I think the bike looks awesome!

Anybody who thinks a ZX-12R is pretty has all his taste in his mouth. And the prettiest one I've ever seen is sitting in my garage. The 14 is what the 12 should have been. Turn on the the flamethrowers, ladies.

BTW, the latest MCN says that the strakes on the front fender are now gone from the ZX-14 (the ones on that side panel still remain at least as of the present.)

If they built a Z1400 that looked good, it woudl be my next bike......I have the saddle bags in the garage waiting for it, add a throttle meister and taller windscreen and I am THERE.....

I always thought the 12's looked very cool. Guess that's why there's so many different bikes to choose from. I tend to gravitate toward the performance aspect of a bike, unless its a big tanned penis like the '99 copper Busa.

That is about all it said.
It comes in PDF and without the feature PDF files often have of enabling you to cut and paste text. So I can't cut and paste. I didn't think it worth retyping, really that was all that it said, the only extra information left out being that Kawasaki was supposedly planning to put heavier emphasis on naked bikes. I don't believe there was any more info than that. I will check later just to make positive there isn't even the slightest further scrap, and report if there is
