I saw it and touched it . It looks like an engine to me. I just thought it was empty of parts because of the VERY light feel of the whole bike.

There may be an engine in there, but it may just be the outside cases, nothing inside! You'd never know unless you took it apart. The way I figure it, it CAN NOT weigh more than a 12!! In this day and age, it only seems logical it would weigh less. If it don't, good luck selling them Kawi....cause next years Busa WILL be lighter and more powerful than the old one.

The bikes at the dealer show were runners. As you saw with the pics of the guy doing the burnout. those same bikes are now on the road at shows.

Well I guess you Northerners are gonna hafta answer the question here.

I can tell you that the red on the 650's swingarm and forks was well received by most of the chicks at the event yesterday.

Not that I doubted you guys (or the other reports seen at various places) - but the 14's both felt INCREDIBLY light.

I mean light like the night I traded the 12 for the 10 and how the 10 felt like a 600 in comparison.

Light like I couldn't believe when I went and sat on the Busa (and then came back and did it again).

Sure seems odd....

I was assured (several times) that they were "runners".

PS - Brian said he remembered meetin you guys at Seattle.

Yeh , I was assured at Daytona that they are, indeed, runners.
