I was itchin to pull the trigger but (and it's a big butt)....
1) My local dealer still hasn't called me back after 2 contacts.
2) The rumour mill abounds with news of the "all new" 07 Busa that may be released later in the year.

I have already put a deposit down against a BLACK ZX-14 for pick up/delivery in mid APR 06. The price was good and I like the bike, besides I had been waiting for Honda to come out with the replacement for the Bird (CBR1200XX) but that never happen so after 2 yrs of waiting, I'll wait no more. $10.8K OTD price, no taxes, no nothing else.

I have a blue one paid for. Dealer says Feb 06. I don't trust dealers much so I called Kawi USA in Ca. They are still sticking with Feb 06 also.
So now I wait...............................................................................................................................................

I have a feeling there will be no "remaining inventory" to get. The only way there will be "leftovers" is if Kawasaki misses the mark again (dosen't live up to the hype).
In that case I'll sell you mine cheap.

PS: I don't think Kawi will let that happen again. The 14 is going to be a monster and there will be no "remaining inventory".
