busas excuses?

Any guesses on to what the latest excuses will be for the busa not being king? I'll take a stab at it...

"Guiness still says we have the fastest bike in history." Key word...History.
"The 14 is powerful, but its ugly as sin." THIS from a busa owner?
"The zx14 has a 50+ cc advantage over us." WELCOME to my world.
"The X14 isn't offered in white for '06." Thank you , Lord.
"Cant be faster, it doesn't have a hump." Thank you, Lord!
"All those headlights are ugly." THIS from a busa owner?
"The Foreman Grills look dumb." Better to cook your ass, My Pretty.
"Its a pig, it weighs more than the busa." 3 pounds...
"Hayabugly sounds better than ZX-14." WTF is a Hayabugly? I'll take the Ninja over the bird, thanks.
"The 14 isn't even badged as a "R"ace bike." "R"eally?
"Its not a try sportbike, its a 'sport-tourer'." Actually, its a hyper-tourer and i will be 'touring' way ahead of you.
"GSXR1300 has a bigger aftermarket following." ....for now.
"All the mags say the Busa is still King." ....for now. Besides, the mags are biased. Soon they won't be able to hide the truth.

EVERYTIME KAWI COMES UP WITH A RADICAL DESIGN EVERY SUZUKI OWNER HAS SOME SMART REMARK TO SAY ABOUT IT. WHEN THE HAYABUZA CAME OUT 8 OUT OF 10 PEOPLE SAID IT LOOKED LIKE AN ANT EATER BUT THEN IT GREW INTO PEOPLE . AND THAT COMMENT THAT IS THE AFTERMARKET KING ITS TRUE BUT THATS THE ONLY WAY THAT THEY CAN SELL ONE TO BE ABLE TO HIDE ITS UGLYNESS BEHIND AFTERMARKET PARTS

Why would the Busa need an excuse? It has set the benchmark for a sport tour performance bike and the ZX14 should surpass it.

It won't surpass my 1397 though...

I am glad there is a new Kwak but i think it is sad to see the 12R go away. It will mean that the next Busa will be at least 1363 and probably a 1397 for 07 - then what will the Kwak excuse be???

this thread was inteded for folks with a sense of humor. Its blatanly obvious that the Busa doesn't have anything to prove. I just refer to the 'excuses' as some of the crap i here my busa Friends talk. cool your heels....BTW, I'm waiting for the 1300++busa myself. People take things waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to serious.

I will put money that over the years we will see up to 2000cc bikes. Sounds insane but as technology advances...ya know the shpeel. We have 1300s with ~1400 kits...we will soon see 1400's with ~1500 kits. Then we will se up to 1600's which have ~1700 kits...soon later their will be V6/I6's in 1800-2200cc form...This being MANY years ahead...with light weight technology we will see V6/I6's under 600 pounds wet and running way over 200 rwhp...just wait...I am 25 now and am looking forward to being a settled down 35+ Y/O with a kawa 1600, maybe more...

wish i was 25 again, but yeah, me too. I anticipate a lot a cool things happening to all motorcycles in the next few decades. Should be a great time. I'm finally in a financial situation where if I just gotta have it...I can. Not well off, but I can spring for something I really want. Sad part is the zx14 doesn't have me feeling that way.
