Keep your visors closed!
Normally I ride with my faceshield closed, but yesterday I left it open for a small 4 block stretch of the Toy Run. It's a slow speed almost- in- neutral crawl through the city. I mean... heck! What could happen in 4 blocks? Right  ?
I was sitting stooped at an intersection and a fuckin wasp swoops down from a tree or something, flies right under my 1/2 open visor and stings me in the cheek, right under my eye, then it flies out under my chin guard.
This morning I woke up and my fuckin lower eyelid is all swollen and I've got a heck of a shiner!

Couple of weeks ago the same thing happened to me with a bee. Flew in the helmet eye port and got under my sunglasses! Stung me on the side of the nose.
