That, I cannot do (I am sure others could.)
Or at least not except as a total butchery.

quote: I'm wondering what 'friendly' ergos Kawasaki is talking about. Looks like about the same seat/peg/clip-on relationship to me. The clip-ons certainly don't appear to be any higher or further back.
Kawasaki Motor Company claims: "a very relaxed sportbike riding position", "low set foot pegs for ample leg room", "low seat height".
Looking at the front and particularly the rear views above, the ergonomics appear to be similar to my 2002 Twelve with Heli-bars.
It's hard to evaluate the footpeg/seat relationship from a photograph, but if the pegs are indeed lower and the seat height is also lower, doesn't that translate to ZX-12R ergos? Where's the "ample legroom"?
As to seat height, the Twelve was slightly too tall for me at 5'9", but replacing the 200/50 with a 190/50 solved that problem.
Anecdote: one of my height challenged friends on a ZX9-R attempted a 3-point turn on a crowned road, put his foot down, and failing to reach the pavement, unceremoniously flopped his bike over. Unfortunately, he was on a group ride.
Best wishes,
Dave
