Overlay of a zx14 vs Busa

Trenance, would you do one of these to compare. I feel like a see some simularities!?

They're a lot more different than the ZX-14 / ZX-12R overlays:



The only "trend difference" is the slightly longer wheelbase, but the 14 is much closer to the 12 than it is to the Busa.

And not only doesn't it repeat the Busa's horror of the windscreen coming so close to the rider, it's not the slightest bit closer than the 12's is.

I really don't see it as more Busa-like except for the fairing being a little more forward than the 12's, but it is not as if Suzuki invented that concept. What might be considered a Suzuki trademark is the "droop" at the nose of the fairing, but the 14 does not have that -- in fact it's nose front is much higher up, definitely a ZX-type fairing except a little more forward than previously.
