...well I'll be a monkey's butt!
...I was just got a call from one of the guys who was at the Julian tech seminar and I was invited to join them on a 2-day Baja trip this Sept 3~4 or Sept 11~12  ...if I can reserve the vacation dates with my department and reserve kennel space for my pup on those days, I'm all over that! ...how cool is that? ...I'll need to ruggedize and accesorize my KLR for the trip ie. racks, bags, small spare stuff, and other stuff...then I'll be ready for Alaska, too!(whenever that'll happen)...I'm all nipply thinkin' about it!

I think I'll go the heavy duty tube and carry all the tools and patch kits for the potential trip flat in addition to carrying some slime...just in case...
