Insurance Issue...
What's up folks?
A friend of mine took his bike (VTX) into a shallow soft patch of mud in the middle of a curve a low speed. Broke the headlight off, bent the shifter, dented the gas tank a little on the underside, and scratched some of the chrome. The next day, he reports to his insurance company (Progressive). Without even seeing the bike, the adjuster is already talking about totaling the bike and selling it back with a salvage title.
What are the pros and cons of taking that route?
