a different bike for the wife
whats up yall, i am looking for a different bike for my wife, she now has a yamaha virago 250 which is the perfect size for her
the problem is with the 250 once it gets up past 55 its not very stable (for lack of better terms) i rode it so i know, i have a ZX14 which is stable at all speeds, what bike would be a good replacement for her to where we could hit the turnpike at 70 mph and still feel stable on the bike, any suggestions
the wife is a small lady she 5'1 about 105 pounds and the virago is a great size bike but it lacks the stability, thanks for any replies

I just upgraded my wife from yamaha r6 to a honda nt700. The r6 was lowered and while she rode it great it really wasn' t her thing. My wife is 126lbs 5' 6". The nt700 has a low seat and the weight not much of a problem with low center of gravity. You know your wife best, so take a look at what you think she will be able to handle and take her test riding till you find something. Best of luck

Have you looked into an SV 650? Plenty of them out there. I think they started FI in 2001.

Perhaps The EX 500 Kawi not as much power as an R6 but a good all around bike and not to tall so your wife should have no problem touching the ground.
