Use MC Prices Rant
I have been looking at used motorcycles over the last few months. I wanna pick up a good used bike, preferably all stock. Just something to ride on the street and put miles on. I have been looking @ zx11's, zx12r's and Busas.
What is the deal with everybody asking 2 & 3 grand more than blue book value? Is everybody smoking crack or what?
There is an '02 zx12r on cycletrader, bone stock 11k miles. Guy was asking $6500. Blue Book is $3980. I emailed him with that information, asked what he'd really take. He replied and said $6000. WTF ever!
And everybody with Gen1 Busas....Your bike is not worth $8000!!! F**kin A people.
I can buy a brand new 2010 zx14 (Left over). for $8900. I wasn't looking to spend that much, but if I do, it will be on a brand new bike. Thanks....I feel a little better now.

Sounds like someone took a high interest loan out to buy that 12 and now wants to sell it but still has a big balance still owes on.
