The Indy Mile—one of the best reasons to attend Indy’s Moto GP. Bill Werner and Bryan Smith give Kawasaki their first ever AMA Mile dirt track win!












Saturday night—Indy Mile grand marshal Nicky Hayden put in four hot laps to warm up for his front row start of the Moto GP






For $5 you too can have a numbered commemorative Hayden brothers Poker Chip celebrating their historic 2002 TT Springfield podium sweep.[/img]


HD trotted out an Indy Moto GP display for the first time. It features an XR1200 Racing Dyno Experience.









BMW had many of Brock’s Performance modified S1000RR bikes on hand to help their fans satisfy the need for speed.






Dunlop had some of Jesse Rook’s custom bike handiwork on display.



Does King Kenny really prefer the V-Max?



Honda was displaying and demonstrating special prototype Moriwaki pipes on some of their road bikes.



Somebody always has to be independent.



Ducati Island



Ducati Island is even offering service---just what the Dr. ordered---express valve adjustments!

After 2 years of rain some Indy MotoGP fans came prepared for anything!

Vendor row had something for everybody, but has yet to grow to Laguna Seca size.



Getting there—Indiana rest stops are some of the cleanest in the country.

I gotta say, an RV camp ground across the street from the main grandstand (which is for general admission tickets!!) cures me of any desire to revisit the Laguna Seca logistical comedy revue.
