I am an exconvict that has been in quite a few car chases and never been caught doing anything with a stolen cage.
I ride 150mph sometimes but, not lately and the time has to be right.
I would have helped the cop even though I don't like cops just because he is a human being and so am I.

Here in Ct., if the cop died,whoever he was chasing is charged with murder of a police officer and can be sentenced to the death if found guilty. Because of this, I would hesitate to aid the cop. Far greater charges could be thrown in there to "set an example". An officer decided to get in on the action who was 30-40 miles away crashed his vehicle and died. The vehicle was found to have mismatching tires on it and was the root cause. They still wanted to hang the original guy being pursued. I go by the belief all cops are liars. Oh stop it Worm, like you never lied to see if you could get a suspect to incriminate themselves. Personally, i believe this was a fucked up situation for all parties involved. I cannot say what my frame of mind would be like if I were the cop. hope he is alright.

When I was 18, I was in Woolworths about to shoplift when the manager of the store fell off a ladder and ripped open an artery in his wrist. I used my roach clip to pinch off the artery and wrapped the whole thing with my bandana.

If the burnt rubber was on the other foot and lots of times it is, the cop would've taken the bike out the 1st chance he got.
