I took a Goldwing for a test ride but didn't get into it.I stand by the theory that a Goldwing looks so old and dated(plus a bitch to work on)after ten years that you'll want to buy another bike.Harley's, like VW Beetles don't change much and are easy to find parts for.Plus there is nothing like hitting that sweet spot where the rpms feel in sync with your heartbeat on a Harley.

Aliveagain makes a good point at least about the parts and accessories. Everyone and their brother who wants to make money in the motorcycle business makes or sells parts for harleys. Us on the cutting edge, end up waiting 6 months just for the simplest of stuff.

A friend sold his busa & bought a Harley to avoid any more tickets it worked well he really did ride slow even slower to pick up the parts that fell off. He slowed are group ride to a stop one time to go back and get his kick stand it was funny as hell.
