Loss of a job

Hey people
It's been a while since ive been on the site or even online for that fact.
Many of you may know I worked for Kawasaki Motors Corp. for 14 years, I lost the job of my dreams there in Nov. and have been devestated ever since.
I made some mistakes and thats all she wrote.
I need to try and move on now..... Ive been searching albeit not extremely hard, for a new job somewhere amidst the industry ive so loved for over 25 years.
Any help, leads, people in the industry and so on would be much appreciated.
Im already tired of collecting unemployment.
I cant always get online.....but will be trying to as much as possible.
Fish has been kind enough to keep in contact with me and try to help.... VERY much appreciated!!!!
He has my #, if you are for real and have some good leads for me, contact him for my #.
Thanks people

Extreme - well what can I say??

I know your Christmas probably sucked and I hope your kids are ok and there is a light at the end of the tunnel - and if you REALLY need someone to TALK to - talk to Salsa, he is never out of words of inspiration....he just goes on and on like the religious energizer bunny!

Ok can do...

1 john 5:4

"For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world-- our faith."

Believe for a new Job...victory starts in the mind with faith in the truth...and it navigates to the heart where production follows with action on your behalf....

When Jesus walked on water the lesson to his disciples was to keep their eyes on him...not at the raging storm that was occuring all around them...

start with God...and go kick some butt....

focus bro...on the right stuff...you can do it...prayer is talking to God....have faith in him for answers...he may just honor your faith as he does mine...

we all go through storms in life...I have a few going on as I speak....every rose has it's thorns to handle...

let faith fuel your future in Christ..there is no better way that I can even think of....tested and tried true...faith is always available...Gods word is loaded with faith....lot's of it in there for us all to benefit with if we so desire and choose to...

God is good!!

I was unemployed for about 6 weeks. Sucked big time. Salsa is right on this one. I dare you to pray about it and good things will happen. Good luck! I've recently been there, so I feel your pain.

I hope with all my heart that extreme finds something good, very good. I lost my job in July and knows exactly how he feels. Luckily since then I had taken on a couple of programming jobs and have found 2 jobs without even trying. One is something fish may have heard of. I am doing programming at a company that does digital movie recording.
Extreme has skills and there are jobs that need those skills. I have great faith that he will turn this turd into a great opportunity.

Talked to him yesterday. Action plan started and feelers put out there. After 14 years at a company you truly loved, without a fathom of thought of going anywhere or doing anything else, there is definetly a "mourning" period of feeling sorry for yourself. He's getting beyond it.
