Great to see someone that bikers respect giving this type of advice.
It needs saying frequently that once the inner lining has been compressed the helmet is trash. Like the man said "a single use item".

Yes, measure and make sure you try it on. Changing cheek pads can make a huge difference. Head shape is also a key factor. Manufactures have different helmet shapes even within the same manufacture depending on the model. I can't wear any of the Scorpion Helmets because they are too round, but the Arai Corsair and most of the Shoei helmets fit me well.
I once had a Shoei RF1000 in size L...it was snug at first then the same thing started happening that Jay was talking about and I didn't feel safe with it. Measured my head and in most brands I'm a M. Sold the helmet after only wearing it a few times. Most dealers are not trained to sell helmets properly.

Free shipping?
I guess you already know what shell size, liner size and cheek padding size you need if you're going to buy a helmet on mail order. The video was really about the need for correct fitting rather than just an Arai advert, you need to be there for that.

I know I'm a medium...free shipping might just be continental U.S. You can always buy the cheek padding and liner later if the standard doesn't fit properly:

araiparts.com
I may not have those website addresses exactly correct, but you can google them.

Just wish someone made a helmet that fit me. Araii doesnt make a big enough helmet, though I would love to have one with all those interchangeable cheek pads and such to get the perfect fit. My jaw is just too long, and my actual head is probably only a xlarge. At over 150mph my helmet is moving and buffeting so bad its hard to see out.
Nice vid though fish, thanks.

Sticks,
If Leno can find an Arai to fit with that jaw of his, it should be no problem for you.

My forehead to back of head diameter is 25 5/8. The more important (for me) jaw to dome of head is 31". Jay Leno is a much smaller guy than me, with a jaw the size of mine (but on his smaller frame). Sucks to be born a sasquatch.
