coo, thx. i see they offer rearends complete with partial suspension & brakes etc. tempting. think i'd prolly stick with the stock pieces tho, jsut to keep the price down. that way all i need is the engine, that reverse gear, & a custom driveshaft. but damn, taht reverse gear is pricey!

I originaly called a company that builds racing aluminium radiators and had them custom build me one. After I gave them the demintions......I later started seeing them advertize dwarf car radiators. So I cant help but think I gave them what they needed to start selling them for dwarf cars. Anyways...I now have the original ZX12 radiator in it now because it is so much lighter. I havnt had it at the track yet to see if its going to work.

Afco makes it and beleave me it works. Its about 3 times as thick as the original. I would say it doubles the cooling area if not more, plus it holds more water. Just be sure to run a thermostat. Anyways when I had a zx11 motor in the car with a strocker crank and big bore kit I still came off the track at 190* and everyone else with stock motors was overheating and running for the water hose. All the guys would come by and ask how come I didnt have overheating problems.

The dimensions are the same except thickness? That sounds pretty damn cool (no pun intended). Afco is where? How do I get a hold of them? Do you know how much they are charging for the oversized radiator?

No. The demintions are not the same. I called them up and told them the size I wanted. Whitch was bigger than the zx12 rad. I gave them the size that was as big as I could put in the car. I also told them what size and were to put the inlet and out let. As far as thickness goes....They make two fluw and tree fluw racing radiators. Note: a racing radiator fluw is twice the thickness as a regular automotive fluw. So mine is a two fluw radiator witch is the same thickness as a regular automative four fluw. So mine is 2 1/4 thick and taller. Yes I over killed it, But like I said. When I came off the track and everybody was overheating and I was at 190 with a smile. There web site is........
http://www.afcoracing.com/ . Youll have to find the phone number thier and call them. Then tell them on the phone you want to see about getting a custom one biult. I think I payed somewhere bettween 250-300$ Thier high, But thier all alumiunum and nicely biult. Hope this helps......

Thanks for the info. Considering a oversized radiator through someone like yoyodyne is around 1800. Even $500 would be a bargin.
