REAL HD videos! Friend just told me about them: they allow a REAL high definition upload, ie 1280x720 resolution compared to YouTubes measly 640x420. Also way simpler to use! Only drawback so far is the 500meg per week limit. You gotta deinterlace and downsize extra high quality footage to 720p (1280x720 res setting on a computer) before posting it up if you want to squeeze as much as possible into your 500meg allotment. It's a "upload" limiter, even though they will downsize it themselves if necessary.
My camcorder (JVC Everio) can record at some rediculus 1880x1200 resolution which is total overkill for any practical application.
Here is two vids, one at YouTube's regular setting, one at Vimeo's regular setting of my last ride:
gotta click for this one: Lake Cavanaugh Google Video clicky. ____________
