HHHHEEEELLLLPPPP!!!!!!!!

So......................
I'm buying a theft recovery 07' R6 from an insurance company at auction.
But I know those bikes have an imobalizer on them from the factory.
How would or could I get a key.
Ie. I cannot just cut a key because the computer is coded to the ignition. so what can I do.
Im thinking race harness.
but I dont know...........................
any one help pleeeaaaaasseeeeee.

Try checking with your local Yamaha dealership, they will either know the answer, or can get the answer. My guess would be you send the paperwork from the purchase to them to prove ownership, and they send out a key and/or a reprogram from the dealer so that previous keys will not work. Sounds kinda $$$ but if you got a good enough deal on the bike it shouldn't be a problem.

Ive already contacted them.
They said, they could'nt do nothing.
the only thing they can do is reprogram the bikes computer and ignition system, sompletely.
this and that blahblahblah,,,,,,,,,,,,,,basically they wanted $1,400.
So naturally I did the right thing an laughed my a$$ off.
Im basically picking the bike up for $3,200. and its almost mint.
So its a good deal.
But this ignition is threatening the "goodness" of the deal. *if ya' know what I mean*

Contact the original owners and get the keys they undoubtedly still have. Give me the plate and/or VIN number and I can tell you who owned it, there phone number and name, address, etc.
