Well this explains how he suddenly was able to not only beat Ben but how he was able to start beating him by 2 seconds and more! You figure Ben was setting on pole and running pretty consistent lap times but Mat was able to pull away almost effortlessly where before he was struggling to keep up. He's going to look a bit sheepish at the next races and he can pretty much forget about winning the championship....Ben has what...110 point lead...he can finish in 10th each race and still win..

Did that report say anywhere what the violation was with the crankshaft? It could have been as simple as polishing the crank throws................something even simpler. Matt has been outriding Ben, plain and simple. Ben has been injured and even had surgery. Any modification to the crank is grounds for disqualification. What ever the infraction was, it's not the reason Yoshimura is winning so many races................a great team and REAL fast riders is the reason.
