I have an '02 klr650. Wonderful. Love it. Great for times that I don't want to park my zx12 or for city travel. Not too many of us out there I guess.

Dunno bout that... lots of members have dual sports as well... If all goes as planned I'll have Dirty Bill's KLR to ride around fer the winter... where bouts are you DereK?

bill, may b worth tryin out an 02 rc if u r disapointed with the 01. mattie_k jsut took top honours in the vtwin class at SBW w 116hp uncorrected (about 129 corrected) w just a pair of 2bros slipons. there was an 01 rc there with slipons only read 104! seems like they really did make a whole new beast outa the 02.
