Chroming at home, New Killer Cans System

Ok I was visiting SEMA this year and ran into a new product.. It's called Killer Cans and its a way you can Chrome parts for your bike without paying crazy money. But before I go on a tangent about how great this stuff is and start selling it. i wanted to try it out myself of some bike parts from my bike a 2007 ZX14. So here is the TEST!!! Done in my garage today.

The Kit comes with 3 cans, a soft cloth and the instructions. The Kit Retails for $115.00

This is the Clear,Black and the Killer Chrome

First you wipe down your part with a solvent to make sure it's clean. Then you mist the part with the Jet Black they provide you and your part will look like this:

Then you let that dry for about 30 mins Next you apply the Lightning Clear from the kit and you also mist this over the part. It will have a high gloss like this:

After that you have to wait for 4 hrs till the next step; So that what I'm doing now.. waiting!!!!

I will continue and show you guys the end result because I only have 2 more steps.

Ok this is step 3. After the 4hours you lightly mist the killer chrome over the part til you get the coverage you want.

After this wait for the part to dry like 30mins and then you take the supplied cloth and wash the part down with water. Once that is fully dry then you use the Clear Coat and you get this:

This is the finished product. Now does this look like Chrome to you? If you look at the top right corner in the photo it kinda looks like a greyish silver. thats what it looks like in person all over. But I will truly know once i take it out into the sunlight.

Ok here is the final results. i painted the last piece in a professional paint booth and even used the baking process to try to get better results to be fair. I placed a chrome wrench near the product so you can see the differance..

I think I'm going to shot them back to jet black and leave them like that. Will I sell this product? I think i'll pass on this one but I will be checking out some other products so stay tuned..

Let me know what you guys think and i will post more product test and reviews.

Yes, I have a HONDA CBR600RR

I live in FL but I work in TX more than I'm home in FL lately, keeping the airports and hotels busy!
