KLX 250S
Geez.. noone ever starts new threads! I am going to get a KLX 250s for my girlfriend, as soon as it comes out.. this bike looks a helluva lot better both visually and performance wise than the other dual sports within the 250 cc range...

I have one and like it kinda sick stock but unplugged it does ok. But im comparing too my 250sx should be good for your girl but you might have to lower it.I would not buy new resale sux and you can find them with next too no miles for 3ish.

Hmmm sounds good... I love the 2008 model... any real differences in production years? How does it compare to a DRZ 400SM? I have one, and its more fun than my zx14 or a triumph 675!

for real my dad's 92 harley spewed a liter and a half of black oil... now those are pieces of shit.. with LEATHER gaskets! And theyre engineered so that the breather blows oil IN front of the rear tire, right at it. STUPID HARLEY.

...hey...don't be hatin' the Harleys...almost any bike will spew oil if its not maintained properly....'06-'07 HDs are especially cool with the 96-inch and 6-spd trannies  ....yeah, I know....what took them so long...I dunno, either 
...I guess the same could be said for the KLR650...the '08s are a step in the right direction since most of the KLR seem to be ridden on the road, not off-road
