I totally agree... I'm just focusing on this single (and incorrect) statement made by Zammy (above)... clearly the race order posted by PK shows that Zammy's statement is false.

dat's all!

C'mon whats wrong with race chat, there hasn't been another one to debate. And whats the point of a 'busa and ZX12 debate when the ZX14 has check-mated 'em both!?

PK didn't post the lead pack just the front three. My definition of a pack must be different from yours. A pack has no finite number however if there are six in a pack ....why am I explaining this to an adult?? Anyway ,My statment was not false . I'd say I'm wrong if I actually was. Jheeze fish get a date , your ego needs strokin' big time.

dude.... again.. you continue to avoid admitting you're wrong.. the "lead pack" is the top 3.. PK went so far as to include the topf FOUR, which you continue to deny, even though it is posted to the site for everyone to see...

again.. there aint no prize for 4th, my friend...

admit it.. you made a mistake... is it really that hard?

fish...............the lead pack is the pack of riders that has broken away from the rest of the field. A "pack" can be ANY number of bikes..................

PK's list clearly shows Steve to be with the lead group which you could throw a blanket over by the way..............and that running order was ONLY at the finish line.
Those top 5 and sometimes 6 bikes were drafting and passing each other back and forth several times per lap.

Even if the Honda's would not have had mechanical problems.............it would have been a competitive race right to the last lap............no one was running away from everyone else.

even by your own definition, Zammy is still incorrect as in lap 21 clearly Rapp was not in the lead "pack" or even the top 4...

Zammy stated that
quote:

Rapp STAYED in the lead pack ALL of the race

Obviously this is not the case.

I don't think that either one is actually 'right or wrong'... the point he was making doesn't rely on RAPP competing for 1st the WHOLE RACE. I believe what his point actually was, was that RAPP was not 'out' of the race. He was within striking distance at any given time. But Fish is not incorrect because technically RAPP did fall out of the 'pack' at times. Fish... to be honest... his point is true if you look at it that RAPP wasn't half a lap down.... he was in the race with the leaders. Mladin and DuHamel over the years had bad starts and made their way to the front after many laps... and many times DuHamel would sit back while the others wore out their times in order to pass them in the end, you don't have to be in 1,2,3, until the end of the race.. Was it stradegy by RAPP?? We don't know... but he did save his bike enough to finish in the 1st place postion that most people consider.. 'winning the race'... Regardless... to continue with the beating a dead horse theme... Honda broke a leg and had to be shot... It is over until the next race. I expect Honda to fix the problem and compete in the next race.

no... that's simply not the case... I was there and PK kept notes on the race order and who was in the top four... I'm not disagreeing with you, but I am disagreeing with Zammy... clearly his statement is false. Rapp was NOT in the lead, or the lead pack for every lap of the race... that didnt happen.

Zammy, are you with us? Are you drug-free? Are you finding it difficult to figure out who won and who lost? Did your mother explain to you that 2nd place is the 1st loser, wtf are you debating?

I realize Honda performed so poorly you want to

But lets stick to the facts here

Frankly I don't really know why I'm in this . If Fish is only going after what I said because Rapp dropped out of the lead "pack" ,for what ever reason, for a lap or two or even three then he is correct and I am wrong about the wording I used. Is that what you needed Fish ? Thanx to every one else who tried to explain what I said or meant to say or what ever . We ALL who won and how. I'll learn to keep my mouth shut on this forum and enjoy conversing on the others.
