Got the title and guess what
Well yeah i bought it on the hsbc card and anyways i was told the bike had a clean clear title and even sign the paper with them stating it was, This is a legal paper in ohio and is a fed offense to lie on it anyways so i get the title and it has the waring odometer discrepancy on it, Now on that paper there is even a spot for the dealer to check off if the title is salvge/flood/odometer and nothing was checked off!
Well i am trying to sell the bike and i am getting people wanting to spend 2500-3200 but after i tell them about the title they offer me 1500
I understand why cuz who knows how many miles are really on the bike you know!
Anyways i bought this from a local dealer that has been around for a long time and i just wounder what you all think i should do about this as i over paid on this bike because i didnt know about the title make sense?
I called the bmv and they said i would have to take them to court and then sue them for what i felt is the right amount i am going to loss and that they would get into major trouble over this!
So i think maybe i should just go there and talk with them and maybe get a better deal on a new bike or sumthing??? What do you all think? What would you all do if it was you? THink about it i am out atleast a 1000-1700 bucks as you can see from my offers and that is more then 2 ppl it is over 10 offers!
Sorry so long but i feel like i am getting screewed and they should have to pay to fix this maybe not let me know,

how much is the discrepency in the reading? Pay for a carfax to find out if there are any other things that weren't declared, then go down with your evidence and talk to the dealer one on one (politely) and try to work it out...
you'lll have to decide what you want to happen... if you love the bike then ask for some money off (a reasonable amount... remember... you have to give the guy the benefit of the doubt that he might not have known either... dealers usually dont transfer title into their own names but go straight from previous owner to new owner)...
if you dont want the bike, ask if you can cancel the transaction.
court should happen onlky after you've tried to solve it on your own.

Just fyi i did the carfax and nothing came back except new and create ship from org. thats all it says, I talked with the bmv and they said the title has been like that sense 2002
I will go talk with them and see what they say i just have a feeling he will be like hears 10 bucks off or sumthing like that cuz they are cheap!

can you contact any of the previous owners and see why it happened? maybe there is a good explanation like the speedo broke and it was replaced by the OEM... maybe someone tried to put colored faces in and damaged it... or who knows what it could be. I would imagine if it was in a flood or major damage it would have been in the car fax... or was it an actual error from the state when they issued a new title?

thats not the point its that i want to sell it and cant get what it is worth due to what is on the title anyways this is what i got so far
So the deal is they rushed the bike in and out and didnt watch the papers so its on them!
I went there and talked with the sales guy as the manager owners where out intil tomarrow from what it sounds like they are going to buy the bike back witch is cool with me!!!
Now the problem is do i really want a zx-10? 8200 otd i really like suzuki 750 so i donno! they only sell kawi and yamaha as i bought it used with the yamaha card!

okay well the deal is they will give me 2900 for my bike and give me a tax cut on the new bike so it is in away giving me 3000 for my bike in away but you get a tax cut period you know so i donno if i should take that deal and that is based if i buy the new zx10 witch will be 8500 otd with my trade in plus there paying the bike off, I donno what to do as i really want 3100 period for the bike as that is what i paid and had a buyer willing to pay that intil he found out about the title you know so i donno its only 200 bucks but you gotta think of the wear and tear plus i could also really mess them up taking this to the news or court to so what do you all think?
Also i am not sure i want the zx10 i dont because its bigger and cost more plus i am a wanna be stunter and i will not stunt that bike so that means i will have to get another one this summer! i donno let me know, Thanks
