I'm NOT trying to lay blame anywhere, but wasn't he at a well known Kawasaki employee's house just prior to killing himself and gave all his personal stuff to him and said something like "I won't be needing this stuff anymore" He may have kept alot inside but I think in the last days he reachd out but no one seen the signs. I'm sure several people now see his attempts to say something before the end and NOW kick their self for not doing something then. Best I remember it was a nasty divorce that left him fucked up on most everyway possible. And one nasty EX wife that took great JOY in sticking the knife in deeper and deeper. It was a sad story at the time and one that really pissed me off. I never forget guys like that. He died alone in every meaning of the word and that's very sad.

There are a few people who know what really happenned that last day and I am not one of them.
All I know is that I saw and talked with him just a coupla days before he left and that's the way I'll remember him.
His funeral was a tough one and the dragbike salute will echo in my memory for a very long time.
Whatever reason he left was known mostly to him and he would not take any help or talk with me and a few other people who offerred anything for the guy who gave so much - in respect for him, I will not speculate what the last day was or was not about.

I by no means would want to drag a bad past up.. I just remember all the stories at the time and it really was a sad situation to me and I didn't even know him personally. My drag bike days were long past by the time his began. Above all else he was a motorcycle person and that makes him part of my family. Even though I didn't know him personally I lost a friend that day as well..
God's Speed Marty you haven't been forgot..
