Spies to WSB or GP?

Possibly never. Looks like Mladin had rubbed off on him. Spies signed for two more years with the Yosh Suzuki crew in AMA, no big deal, but now he says...

"I would love to break every Superbike record to be broken in the U.S.," said Spies. "It's definitely possible. I look at my teammate Mat Mladin and how many races he's won, and what he's done and he really didn't start dominating until he was in his late 20s. I want to be able to break every record Mat has set. I want to be the winningest rider over here."

Do we have a new cherry picker in the series to replace Mladin? Do we NEED a new one? Will he stay on the middle of the ladder never to move up? Personally I was hoping to see him move up to WSB in a year or two, I think he'd do great and represent Americans in the series. Maybe the next crop of young American talent will move up and step-up to the plate.

I'd say it's more of a guarantee he stays in the Suzuki family than he stays in the US. I'm sure the factory would rather move him as a contracted rider than a free agent champion.

Would be interesting to see him in MotoGP, but there's no way he would go. as a Suzuki rider.
