Aug 13th Vancouver BC ride
This event is called the "Cariboo Trails". I guess that meant something back in the day (the Greater Vancouver Motorcycle Club has been hosting this ride for 70+ years). Organizers are expecting 20 bikes but have seen hundreds some years.
Cruiser / Sportbike / Adventurebike / Standard friendly. You set your own pace.
This is an all-day event that you can ride on your own or with buddies. I don't know the route, but imagine that we'll be sent up Duffy or east to Princeton & then pretty far north & back through the Canyon. Plan on +/-500km.
The idea is that you collect 'proof of attendance' (gas receipts etc.) from a number of communities over the course of the day, for points. You watch the clock, since you must return to the Surrey clubhouse by 5:30pm.
Breakfast & Dinner provided, along with significant prizes; all for $35!
