ROK (Riders Of Kawasaki)

Anyone else join this dealio?

Is it worth anything at all?

I joined and then received nuthin.

I e-mailed after bout a month - bout 2 weeks later got the "intro pack".

That was back in December I think - not a word, e-mail, snail mail since then.

I e-mailed them just over 2 weeks ago to see what's up - no response yet.

Anyone else?

Seems like a total waste O $40.

Of course, I'd like them to prove me wrong.

Well, I re-emailed them again seeing as how they haven't responded since 3/15/06.

Guess we'll see what happens.

Pretty much worthless. I joined a couple of years ago and the next year I received a coupon for free admission to the Cycle World IMS Motorcycle Show in Dallas - I thought "COOL!" That was a neat benefit... saved me a few bucks...

So I renewed. Next year's motorcycle show came along and no tickets showed up at my house. I called ROK and asked what's up? They said that they weren't doing the free tickets that year. It was at that point that I asked exactly what value the club offered? I got a very vague answer. Some bs about roadside assistance and a keychain... what a load of crap.

That was the end of my participation in ROK. I see absolutely no value.

Woohoo!

A sticker - WOW!

If I didn't have a pickemup as my second vehicle then I guess roadside would be a valid reason - mebbe.

Interesting that their PO Box is almost the same as Kawi corporate and their phone # also goes to Kawi corporate.

Someone must really be asleep at the wheel.
