From another forum

quote:

OK. Here is the update.

There were about 30+ bikers who camped out at the entrance of the station today. I just saw a piece on the local news about it and it did NOT put the station in very good light. Interviews of local BARFers were taken and broadcast. The station has put a link on their site to the BARF thread and have also put on some safety stuff locally. The AMA called the station and the Yamaha dealer who's ad ran right after the comments sent the GM to the station who read the riot act to the ass monkeys there on the air. I personally heard them back peddle and apologize profusely for their moronic statements.

I'm not satisfied, but feel that they are at least making at attempt to make ammends.

This guy is talkin outta both sides of his face.

The intetrview with the GM of the Yamaha dealer the guy talks bout how his relatives are in the industry and he knows people that ride - still doesn't explain what he said.

THen on the stations site, the DJ tells a story bout how he witnessed a biker gettin "doored" a few years ago - this guy apparently just has no clue.

I really hope he takes that Yammie dealer up on his offer - good on that dealers' GM too, way to man up.
