BeanBaxter has ripped these images from our site without any link or other credit. This is both rude and illegal (in your country as well). For those of you who are more considerate, please have a look at the source of this content at londonbikers.com, where you can view the full three galleries we have for the bike show...

I would really like these images taken down, as I don't see why we should be paying for BeanBaxters bandwidth usage.

Amenthi, first off welcome!
Links and reference to LondonBikers added to post... ...
we'll talk to Beans for you.... I'm sure he meant no harm..
BTW your photos are all over the internet... not just this website.
Beans did nothing illegal. The photos are unwatermarked and available for public viewing on your website. If you place the photos online and accessable to the public, they are bound to make their way around online and you're on the hook for the bandwidth.
If you dont take the time to watermark them then you're out of luck. If you want to get technical, by not watermarking or preventing any kind of public access to the images on your website whatsoever you are placing the images into what is known as the "public domain".
Viewing, altering, editting and reposting public domain images does not constitute a violation of copyright.
Many sites make galleries such as yours "member access only" or grant access only after forcing the end user to agree to an Intellectual Property Rights agreement. Conversly you could try preventing outside linking etc...
You should take note that you agreed to such terms for this site when you opened your account, and you are now bound by them.
Beyond that there's not much you can do... welcome to the world of hosting a website!

Amethi i'd recommend u grab a watermarking program that works with batches, u can get them free all over hte place. try download.com for example. that way when people link your images (and they will link tehm or copy them no matter what u do) at least u have credit and peopel can follow the image back to your site if they want. if ur really concerned about bandwidth, u can defeat linking (for the most part) pretty easily just by configuring your webserver correctly. google for instructions for your specific server (as in webserver software), shoudl be easy to find.
