$18,000 for a Yamaha R1 LE!
That is a steal of a deal if you can get one. I just did the math and after adding in all the major limited edition upgrades in addition to the R1 price, that is a helluva deal! If you're gonna do all that stuff to your moto anyway, try to get one of these - good luck with that last part though.

Yamaha says MSRP of $18,000 dealers are going to get waaaay more for them than that. I know a guy who paid $16,000 for the R1 Raven. That's a few dollars over what Yamaha sugested for that puppy.
BTW I already know a guy who put a deposit down before the price was announced wonder what it's really going to cost him.
Yea $18,000 is a fantastic deal for what you get but I think people will be paying over $20,000 for those things.

$18,000. Dealer can only order 2, can only order one if the customer has put down a $2500 non-refundable deposit. Total balance due within 7 days of dealer receiving the LE R1, and no financing is available on it.
This R1 seems way better than the $18000 LE

39 grand...um NO......will stick to the 18 grand, and finace through my bank....and hand yamaha the check....

If I had the cash I'd buy the Jamie James Yami or Ten Kate Honda before I'd buy a 999R .

$38,900 for that bike for just the street rider I'd say Poser...
Bought it for just a track bike, I'd say money having HELLA Serious rider!
