Africa 2006
If you a) are not a dink, b) have clear title to your Dualsport bike, c) can ride and fix said DS bike to any reasonable degree and d) would be SERIOUSLY interested in sharing a container to ship said DS bike to Africa in late 2006, let me know.
I have been in touch with someone in Vancouver here who is looking for 8-12 people interested in some riding in Africa in Nov/Dec 2006- sound like he has interest from around 6 pple so far. This is not an organized tour, just sharing costs and maybe companionship (or not) touring around Africa. Bikes would probably need to be sent out from North America 6-8 weeks beforehand. I have few details re: route or anything yet as I have done zero homework on this so far-just putting the feelers out at this point. Container would be leaving from somewhere on the west coast, probably Vancouver BC or Seattle WA.
