Harley dealerships to drop Buell line

I'm sure some already know this but the word came down from Harley that any HD dealership that does not want to carry the Buell line no longer has to. Apparently customers with dealerships that dropped the Buell line have already received or are going to receive a letter from Buell explaining that this is a positive thing yada yad yada.

I am guessing this is a good thing for Buell in the long run. Sales may drop a bit first but pick back up after a short time. I believe that customers that want to buy a Buell and do so at a dealership that knows and loves the Buell bikes will have a better experience with both the sales and service side.

So lets hear it, what are your thoughts!

All comes down to how many will still choose to carry Buell.

Agreed, it is a pathetic situation when dealers carry a line only because they are forced too.

Hard to see why more total Buells will be sold from this though. It isn't as if the apathetic Buell dealers were reducing sales of excited Buell dealers by any number greater than what the apathetic ones sold... in other words, at best the same number will be sold now but just at different dealers.

The thing is, to the moron type (I am not saying all H-D riders are morons, I am saying to the moron-type among them) to be in the "in crowd" you have to ride a HARLEY-DAVIDSON Harley, and they dismiss Buells.

I always find it amusing , they take such strides to customize their shit so they can be "individuals" ( all looks the same to me ) and totally behave like assholes to everyone that doesn't buy exactly what they buy and do exactly as they do . What a great pile of bullshit .
