Police Concours ...hey XL...why didn't Kawasaki see fit to make a Police version of the Concours?...
...adequate engine, adequate performance and handling, shaft-drive, decent reliablity, decent weather protection, decent storage and load capacity...and INEXPENSIVE for cities and counties to purchase when compared to the BMW, Motoguzzi, ST1300, HD, etc....
...did Kawasaki miss the boat on this?...just curious....this bike has been around forever and apparently still sells....look at the enthusiassts from the COGs...amazing, huh?....

Hey swft, we's a little ignernt here in the south... what's wrong with watercooled for police duty? The old air cooled KZs would sit and idle and cook the rings ,seals ,oil etc... alot of the newer cop bikes are wet.

Yah, but those old Kaws were so damned reliable, I think the cops were afraid to try something new!
If they were gonna do a new bike, it should be the ZZR, with bars and a seat designed for them. ZZR will haul more, go a HELL of a lot faster, and prolly get as good mileage.
