MotoGP - Donington Park - ***SPOILER***
Valentino Rossi has scored another impressive win in a thrilling, wet MotoGP race at Donington Park. The Italian was involved in an entertaining tussle with Kenny Roberts and Alex Barros before breaking from the front group with seven laps to go to eventually take his seventh win of the season.
Suzuki's Kenny Roberts made the most of the wet conditions to score his first podium finish since his third place in Rio in 2002, having beaten Alex Barros to second in the late stages of the race.
Colin Edwards took fourth ahead of Carlos Checa and Loris Capirossi. The race was marred by several crashes, including early leader Sete Gibernau, Marco Melandri, Troy Bayliss, Max Biaggi and Nicky Hayden - only 11 riders made it to the chequered flag.
