Details for Julia Sit Memorial & Service

"If you plan to attend the service, please bring a single flower. You may also attach a note or another small item to the flower if desired. The flowers will be placed within Julia's grave at the end of the service.
The service will be held at Ocean View Cemetery at 10:30am on Sunday, July 24th. Julia's final ride will leave the Flying Swan at 9am. Please arrive at the Flying Swan any time between 7am and 8:30 if you plan to ride in the funeral procession. The Flying Swan Coffeehouse is located at 1724 W 4th Avenue in Vancouver, 1/2 block East of Burrard Street.
A reception will follow the service starting at 5pm at the Shark Club downtown on Georgia Street across from GM Place. Doors are open all day if you wish to arrive early.
Route for Julia's Final Ride
- 4th Avenue East until Quebec St
- Quebec St North until 1st Ave
- 1st Ave East until Boundary Road
- Boundary Road South until Imperial / 49th
- Imperial East, Ocean View Cemetery is on the right
The Sit family has requested you do not send flowers or leave flowers outside the Flying Swan due to their cultural background. Please consider donating for funeral expenses in lieu of flowers"
