Question about doing factory upgrades to a 6R?

Ok, my friend has a 2003 Ninja 636cc ZX-6R, and just emailed me this and so I ask you all...

I was surfing the kawi site today and found a new cam for my 636 for $240. And some velocity stacks for $100.
My question is How much of a difference do ya think it would make. Would I have to modify my airbox to compinsate. I dont think I would have to since everything is from Kawi.
And do ya think it is worth it?

I would have no trouble installing it. But perfomance for the bucks ratio is it worth it?

Whatcha'll think?

Bean,
The intake cam your buddy was talking about will have to have valve springs also, and they're not cheap.

Chad has a new Factory Competition Cam package for the 2003 & 2004 ZX6R (636) and 2003 ZX6RR. The kit includes the intake cam he referred to and also a high performance exhaust cam, valve springs for both sides and head gasket.
This Kawasaki kit is new in plastic with all part number tags intact.
The kit sells for around $650, Chad will take $400 for everything. He sold his 636 for his house down payment and has no use for the cam package now.
Thanks,
Dan

Mr. Bean,
Chad said that he would split the difference and pay the shipping.
How does $375 shipped sound?
My phone number is 865-982-0295 and Chad's is 865-661-9912.
Thanks,
Dan
