Yah, the weight is pretty close to my ZZR. But these are sport tourers. Different measure than a pure sportbike.

I am really interested in seeing this bike at the show in December.

One thing that sticks out though is the sky hi ass on it. For a sport tour bike I would much prefer a lower tail section.
You put a loaded tail bag, sleeping bag, and tent on the back along with loaded saddlebags and the center of gravity is far higher than on the ZZR1200 or the FJR1300.
Looks to me like Triumph wanted the new "chic" undertail exhaust for marketing and forgot it waw a sport tour bike :-(

So, I have a silver one on order...Prolly be March or April...Now to decide if I keep the ZZR or trade it in...

so what was it made u choose the sprint over the zzr? after all it's not gonna have the same grunt for easy cruising.
