swft... until we have enough members participating in the touring section to justify splitting it into sport touring and cruiser etc etc we need to leave it like this and let it grow a bit...

Though I gotta agree. "Touring Zone" sounds like a bit of a poof area. I picture gold wings with annoying string lights on them and thick sheep skin pads on all them corbin saddles.

I went touring on my 10 the other day,It was such a nice day to get out and play.On a bright forestry highway, cool wind in my hair(what I have left)off in the distance I saw a shimmering light(the sun going down)......blah blah blah...
I thought I could do this tour stuff.I bought a tank bag and everything........It even has a place for a map.How the heck do you look at a map running 142 ? Im just not a tour guy yet I guess

define touring, is it a long day ride on some pint sized track bike? or a overnight ride staying at a motel ? or a multi day ride staying at friends houses along the way? or a week or better ride staying at motels, friends houses, camping,etc?
